About Us

A tradition of flavor & laughter

Tiff’s Grill and Ale House is a proud Romanelli family tradition, rooted in a culinary legacy that began 52 years ago when Michael Romanelli Sr. opened Romanelli’s Pizza & Italian Eatery at just 18 years old. Today, his son, Mike Romanelli Jr., a graduate of The New York Restaurant School, has elevated Tiff’s to new culinary heights as its operating manager and chef.

Mike Jr. has skillfully expanded the menu, offering innovative dishes like Teriyaki Ginger Salmon and the refreshing Grilled Corn and Avocado Salad, while preserving beloved classics such as Nana’s Wicked Chicken Rigatoni, Grandma’s House-Made Meatballs with Penne, and Michael Sr.’s signature Baby Back Fall-Off-The-Bone BBQ Ribs, first introduced to New Jersey in 1978. Every dish is crafted with the finest, freshest ingredients, hand-selected daily to ensure a premium dining experience.

But Tiff’s isn’t just about great food—it’s about creating unforgettable experiences. After savoring a delicious meal, head upstairs to The Dojo of Comedy, one of the hottest comedy clubs in the region. This premier venue has hosted some of the biggest names in stand-up comedy, including Louis CK, Joey Diaz, Jessica Kirson, Mark Normand, and many more. With a mix of national headliners, rising stars, and special events, The Dojo offers an unparalleled night of laughter and entertainment. Pair the laughs with a rotating selection of local microbrews for a perfect evening out.

Now led by the third generation of Romanellis, Tiff’s continues to honor its legacy by serving exceptional food and supporting local talent and businesses, all while crafting an atmosphere of warmth and tradition.
